The Bowen Technique is, quite simply, one of the most straightforward and effective 'hands on' therapies available. It is primarily a remedial tool, offering the body an opportunity to restore structural integrity. The Technique consists of a series of moves across muscle, tendon and other soft tissue. The therapist uses fingers or thumbs on specific areas, applying gentle pressure to effect a movement of the tissue. The Bowen Technique encourages the body to realign itself.
